Travel Therapist of the Month – Elise Francis

Congratulations to our featured traveler Elise Francis. Our featured traveler Elise Francis is a travel therapist with Host Healthcare and is our featured traveler of the month in July 2016.

Some words from his recruiter, Jordan:

“Elise exemplifies what travel therapy is all about. She is positive, adventurous, and is always trying new things — even flying lessons! Not only does she represent what travel is all about, but she hits on all of Host Healthcare’s Core Values – specifically Enthusiasm, Individuality, and Team Work. Additionally, Elise has only received glowing reviews from managers, colleagues, and our own compliance team! It’s been a pleasure to work with her and she was even able to come by our office to meet our team! Thanks for everything you do, Elise!”

We asked her to answer a few questions for us…

Q: If you could have one super power what would it be and why?

A: Ability to fly. Because I wouldn’t have to deal with traffic & things look really cool from a birds eye view!

Q: What has been your favorite experience since you have been traveling?

A: Meeting and working with some amazing and unforgettable people (patients, therapists, nurses etc.)

Q: What has been one of your favorite places/spots you have visited while on assignment?

A: Southern CA. Because I am close to the beaches!

Q: What made you want to try travel therapy?

A: I started as a new grad & I chose travel because I had no idea what setting I wanted to work in & because it is a great opportunity in general.

Q: What was one thing you were scared of before your first assignment and how did you combat that?

A: I was afraid that since I was a new grad that my first facility was going to expect me to know more than I did. It turned out great though! They trained me, answered questions and were very supportive.

Q: What is your guilty pleasure after a long day at work?

A: Netflix (a lot of it)

Q: What is one word that sums up your recruiter, Jordan?

    A: AWESOME!!!
