Featured Traveler of the Month – Lee Myrdal

Our featured traveler of the month Lee Myrdal! Lee is a travel therapist with Host Healthcare currently in Oregon. We are so lucky to have Lee part of the Host Healthcare family and glad to have our featured traveler of the month. Lee’s recruiter Michael calls him “an amazing traveler.” See his answers and pictures on assignment below!

Q: If you could have one super power what would it be and why?

A: My super power would be able to refill anything. Empty fridge? Refill. Empty wallet? Refill. You get the idea.

Q: What has been your favorite experience since you have been traveling?

A: Facing my fear of heights and rock climbing at Smith Rock State Park near Bend Oregon.

Q: What has been your favorite places/spots you have visited while on assignment?

A: There are a ton of things to see here in southern Oregon but I’d have to say Crater Lake National Park, the Redwood National forest and just cruising the Oregon coast.

Q: What made you want to try travel therapy?

A: I’ve always wanted to travel and figured I never would if I didn’t right after school so I took the leap. Super glad I did!

Q: What was one thing you were scared of before your first assignment, and how did you combat that?

A: Being a new grad in a new place and not knowing anybody or having any work experience was definitely nerve racking but I just made sure to stay up beat and positive and to just be myself.

Q: What is a guilty pleasure after a long day at work?

A: Cracking open a cold one and cranking some classic rock.

Q: What is one word that describes your recruiter, Michael?

    A: Versatile
