If you do not have an assignment scheduled within 30 non-working days, your benefits will end on the last day of the month of your last day worked. For example, if your last day worked is 6/27, and you do not have another assignment scheduled, or your next assignment is more than 30 nonworking days out, your benefits will end on 6/30.
Host Healthcare follows all state guidelines regarding sick leave. Please contact your recruiter to discuss your specific state’s sick leave policy.

Yes, a credentialing specialist will reach out to you 30 days before your credentialing item is expiring to ensure you remain compliant for the entire duration of your assignment. For medical items, we can also set you up with one of our contracted clinics before the expiration date.
Timecards & Pay

For standard Sunday – Saturday work weeks, timecards must be submitted before Monday at 12:00 pm PST. For non-standard work weeks, timecards must be submitted before Wednesday at 2:00 pm PST.
If you have a non-standard work week, sick time, or were called off, please note this information for our team. If you are working in the State of California, please note if you missed a lunch period or a break. You can leave a message for our team in the “Notes to Payroll Associate” box in the Host Healthcare mobile app or web portal.
If your facility’s timekeeping instructions specify a manager’s signature on your timecard, then it is necessary for timecard submission and approval. If it is not specified, we still encourage you to obtain a manager’s signature on your timecard before submission. Please ensure to check and follow all timekeeping instructions for your specific facility.
Starting on the second week of your assignment, we will send you your paycheck via direct deposit every Friday. The direct deposit time will vary depending on your bank and time zone. If you have any questions, reach out to your recruiter or email timecards@hosthealthcare.com.
Yes! We are committed to putting your needs first and will pay you for orientation hours. Please record these hours on your timecard before submitting to our payroll department and we will include the pay in your next paycheck.
