Melanie began her nursing career 18 years ago, starting on an Infant Medical Surgical Unit. She then made her way to a pediatric operating room where she has spent the majority of her career. She has also spent some time working in the NICU, she opened and ran a pediatric GI clinic, and was a Surgical Services Director. Melanie earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing and still works PRN as a pediatric OR nurse.
In her role at Host Healthcare, Melanie oversees our team of clinical supervisors. She leads a team of clinicians with a variety of different backgrounds and areas of nursing and has loved the opportunity to learn from each of them.
Melanie is originally from Idaho Falls, ID and now resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, getting outdoors – riding bikes, having picnics in the mountains, and playing at parks.
